Grow Together

Effective October 20, 2026

Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website to request the free Grow Together Journal. We have tried to keep it plain.

Who we are

Youman Growth publishes the Grow Together Journal and runs this website. We are Kary and Taniye Youman, and we work from Norway. We decide why and how your information is used here, which makes us the data controller under the GDPR.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to send you the journal.

  • Your first name and email address, when you ask for the journal.
  • Whether you ticked the box to receive occasional emails, and when you did.
  • Your IP address, which our server reads for a few minutes to limit repeated form submissions. We do not save it.
  • Standard server logs, which our hosting provider may keep for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for payment details. If you buy the physical journal, that happens on Amazon.

How we use it and why

We use your information for these purposes:

  • To send you the journal and let you download it. You asked for this, so we need your name and email to do it.
  • To send occasional emails and follow-ups, such as questions to talk through together, but only if you ticked the checkbox. This rests on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • To keep the site and form secure and prevent misuse. We have a legitimate interest in doing this.
  • To answer your questions and privacy requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising.

Emails and how to unsubscribe

Everyone who asks for the journal receives one email with the download link. Follow-up emails and occasional emails from us go only to people who ticked the checkbox. Asking for the journal does not sign you up for them.

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Using it stops our emails. If you also want your details removed, ask us using the contact details below.

Sender, our email service

We use Sender (sender.net) to store subscriber details and send our emails. Sender handles your name, email address, and the choices you made on our form, and it may record whether emails are opened and links are clicked. Sender uses your information to provide its service to us and has its own privacy policy, which you can read on its website.

Cookies, analytics, and third parties

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. It does not embed social media buttons, videos, or ads. The fonts are served from our own site.

The only cookie it sets is a small one that remembers your language setting. It does not identify you.

If we add analytics or other tools later, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Links to Amazon

The page links to Amazon, where you can buy the physical journal. When you follow that link you leave our site, and Amazon's own privacy notice applies to what it collects. We do not pass your name or email to Amazon, and we do not see your purchase.

Where your information goes

Sender and our website host process information on our behalf, and that may happen in countries outside your own. Where information leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where the law requires them.

How long we keep it

We keep your name and email address until you ask us to delete them, or until we stop sharing the journal, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe but do not ask us to delete your details, we keep a minimal record so that we do not email you again. We may keep information longer only when the law requires it.

Security

The site uses HTTPS. Our email service credentials stay on the server and are never sent to your browser. Access to our subscriber list is limited to us. No online service is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you share.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, and under similar laws elsewhere, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
  • correct anything that is wrong,
  • delete your information,
  • limit or object to how we use it,
  • send it to you in a portable format, and
  • stop sending marketing emails, by withdrawing your consent.

Making a request or a complaint

To make a privacy request, ask a question, or withdraw consent: Email us at hello@youmangrowth.com. We aim to reply within one month.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Norway, that is Datatilsynet.

Children

The journal is written for couples, and this site is not meant for children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell subscribers by email.
